Secret Treasures Angel

Secret Treasures Angel was made for the Angel swap on beadtalk. Her head and collar lift off to reveal a little bottle where small treasures may be placed for safekeeping. She stores her halo there. It is only brought out on special occasions, because it is made of tiny (22/0) antique gold metal beads from Paris, France. I used right-angle weave for her head and netting and NanC Meinhardt's Frothy Fringe for the collar. Her bodice is peyote stitch, netting and loop fringe. Her arms are tubular Ndebele and her wings and skirt are sculptural Ndebele. She is 3 and 3/4 inches tall, and the bottle is only 2 inches tall. I enjoyed making her and like to imagine her watching over my swap partner, Debra Pyeatt, as she creates more masterpieces.
